Lower Temple Street, Dublin:
opening advertisement for the Turkish baths

Opening advertisement for the baths
  < Freeman's Journal (5 Feb 1859) p.2

When the baths opened, there was a single set of baths used by men and women at different times, but once the building work was completed there were separate baths for each.

The reclining bath was similar to a modern full-length bath compared with the half-length sitz bath where the bather was seated.
