Postcards were a recognised medium for advertising Turkish baths, even when they were part of a larger establishment, such as an ocean liner or an hotel.
The New Turkish Bath Hotel of Rochester, NY, chose not to illustrate the baths themselves, but in 1910—and possibly in other years also—posted calendar cards each month to their prospective clients. On the reverse of each card could be found the same manually typewritten message:
