The Lincoln Place Turkish Baths, Dublin, late 19th century

Lincoln Place
< Photographer unknown

This rare image, half of an old stereocard, shows the full extent of the frontage of the baths. It would have been taken within a few years of the baths opening.

All the other images I have seen show the baths long after they were closed, and when parts of the building had already been converted for other uses.

Unfortunately, the image was not considered to be of a high enough quality to reproduce in print, and the original card has gone missing.

This page adds an image to illustrate
Dr Barter's first Turkish baths in the Irish Capital,
mentioned on page 42 of the book
